Course Description

Few, if any, sacraments provide the depth, intimacy and versatility like the Sacrament of Light. From the subtlest energetic and somatic expressions to the mystery of one's own dissolution, the 5-MeO sacrament invites profound divine connection, healing, and wisdom for one's whole being.

In Part 2 of the Sacrament of Light's initiatory practicum, students learn to cultivate a safe and skillful ministry with this powerful sacrament. Building on a foundational understanding of 5-Meo and its low dose, titrated administration, this phase explores the nuances of holding space for others, advanced ethical discernment, 5's unique safety considerations, and the preparation and integration practices that anchor mystical insight into embodied daily life.

An emphasis on the principles of right relationship, consent, containment, and surrender will guide student's development as they deepen their understanding of how to serve and be in service to this sacrament. Students will engage in peer reflection, case study journaling, and supervision as part of their ongoing ministerial formation.

At the end of the Spring semester, students will be eligible to serve, with supervision, this sacrament. For those who choose to begin serving this sacrament, ministers are required to engage in monthly supervision through the Spring Semester.
